Azure Training for Ukrainians

Finland is in dire need of cloud experts. 

Together with Microsoft and the Ukrainian Association in Finland, we want to support Ukrainian asylum seekers to learn high in-demand skills by providing hands-on-training that enables you to find a job in the industry. 

In our free full-time training from the 4th of September until 5th of October, you will get to know Microsoft’s Azure program and will be able to kickstart your career in cloud computing.

Who is this training for?

Details

The entire program is for free and in English. Training is full time from Monday to Friday, 9 to 16.

This is a hybrid training. Online training will be provided by Praesignis and on-site workshops will take place in The Shortcut office in Helsinki (Kamppi). 

WHAT IS THE APPLICATION PROCESS?

We offer you a chance to get certified with Microsoft Azure. In the beginning of the course, you will take part in Microsoft Azure Fundamental (AZ-900). Once you graduated from Azure Fundamentals, you can learn about Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900). If you have already obtained the AZ-900 certificate prior to the course, you can sign up directly to Azure Data Fundamentals.

Definitely! If you have a general background in tech, you do not need to have worked with Microsoft Azure prior to applying.

Unfortunately, our services are only available for residents of Finland with a right to work in Finland. Since part of the training will be in person, you also need to be able to travel to our office in Helsinki.

This is a full-time training, Monday to Friday from 9 to 16. You need to be able to commit to the full training, so if you have a full-time job during the same hours, you are not able to join the training.

Yes, you are more than welcome to apply for this course if you already attended Azure Fundamentals. However, it’s not necessary to have attended Azure Fundamentals to take part in Azure Data Fundamentals.

This is a full-time training, Monday to Friday from 9 to 16. You need to be able to commit to the full training, so if you have a full-time job during the same hours, you are not able to join the training.

When you apply to the training, we will verify that you are eligible to join us. If you are eligible, you will gain access to the challenge. Please reserve around 3.5 hours to finish the challenge.

The challenge takes around 3,5 hours to finish if you have no prior knowledge of Microsoft Azure. However, if you have some background in cloud computing, you might get through it faster.
